Fall 2019 Grants Conference

The Fall 2019 National Science Foundation (NSF) Grants Conference will take place on November 18-19, 2019 in Boston, MA at the Boston Marriott Cambridge. The NSF Fall 2019 Grants Conference has sold out. For those who were not able to register, the conference will be live streamed to the research community. Who Should Attend? These events are primarily designed to provide new faculty, researchers and administrators with key insights into a wide range of current issues at NSF, including proposal preparation and merit review basics, award management topics and other important information. Why Attend? This two-day conference is a must, especially for new faculty, researchers and administrators. Program officers representing each NSF directorate will be on hand to provide up-to-date information about specific funding opportunities and to answer attendee questions. Highlights include:

  • Future directions and strategies for national science policy
  • Proposal preparation
  • NSF’s merit review process
  • Conflict of interest policies
  • Breakout sessions by discipline

Terms and Conditions All conference registration fees must be received by Friday, October 18, 2019. If payment is not received by that date, your registration may be cancelled, and your place will be given to someone on the waiting list. If you have payment questions, please send an email to Grants_Conference@nsf.gov. Conference Cancellation/Refund Policy Should you be unable to attend the conference, you must contact the National Science Foundation (NSF) no later than Friday, October 18, 2019 in order to receive a full refund. No refunds will be granted for requests made after that date. Email all registration cancellations and refund requests to Grants_Conference@nsf.gov. NSF regrets that refunds will not be given for no-shows. Registrants may transfer their registration to a colleague within their institution/organization at any time without penalty. Transfer requests should be directed to Grants_Conference@nsf.gov.
