The Spring 2019 National Science Foundation (NSF) Grants Conference will take place May 20-21, 2019 in Los Angeles at the Hilton Los Angeles/Universal City. Registration for the conference opened on Thursday, February 14 at 12 p.m. EST, and has since reached capacity. The waitlist is also closed. This is second time grants conference participants will have the opportunity to schedule ten-minute, one-on-one discussions with NSF representatives from directorates and select administrative offices. Who Should Attend?
These events are primarily designed to provide new faculty, researchers and administrators with key insights into a wide range of current issues at NSF, including proposal preparation and merit review basics, award management topics and other important information.
This two-day conference is a must, especially for new faculty, researchers and administrators. Program officers representing each NSF directorate will be on hand to provide up-to-date information about specific funding opportunities and to answer attendee questions.
Conference Cancellation/Refund Policy
Should you be unable to attend the conference, you must contact the NSF via email no later than April 16, 2019. A refund of the full conference fee will be given for cancellations received by that date. No refunds will be granted for requests after April 16. All registration cancellations and refund requests must be made via email to Grants_Conference@nsf.gov.
NSF regrets that refunds will not be given for no-shows. Registrants may transfer their registration to a colleague within the same institution at any time without penalty. Transfer requests should be directed to Grants_Conference@nsf.gov.
